I joined Samantha at her mums house as she was getting ready with her 4 lovely bridesmaids and 2 flower girls. When I arrived at the house all the hair had been done and they were just finishing off the make up so they were super organised! Samantha’s Mum made all the flower bouquets by herself, they looked absolutely stunning and fitted in really well with the wedding. I photographed all the dresses, shoes and jewellery before the girls got ready.
As I arrived at the venue the sun was starting to come out. As everyone knows with a wedding in Scotland the weather can change instantly. I caught up with Ian and his two best men before the ceremony began. They all seemed very calm.
The ceremony was lovely. The sunlight was streaming through the windows making the perfect atmosphere. Samantha’s sisters sang a song with her brother on the guitar it was beautiful.
We all headed out for group photos, I loved this one with the confetti! I then took them round to the alleyway for photos of just the two of them together.
I loved the urban city look we were getting, it pretty much sums up Glasgow.
Inside the National Piping Centre they have a spiral staircase, perfect for photos.
The beautiful table layout at the National Piping Centre Glasgow.
I stayed to photograph the speeches. I loved hearing how Samantha and Ian met in high school and have been together ever since! Congratulations to them!!
