Date: 29th of October 2016
Its been a good ten years since Scott and myself last worked together. We were both working on ships and he was my supervisor teaching me everything about photography in my first job. I was so excited to be shooting his wedding and to meet David his lovely partner. They opted to have a small wedding with close friends and family….my favourite.
I have been in Killin a few times before but never at this time of year. Autumn was still going and the colours were gorgeous! We also had good weather so it was really working out for the best.
Scott and David got ready together before heading downstairs to the ceremony room.
David was walked down the aisle by his sister Chery and Scott walked down by his proud Mum, Joyce.
They had a beautiful ceremony performed by registrar Yvonne MacPherson.
We had stunning views for group photos.
I drove Scott and David up to the Falls of Dochart. It was one of the prettiest places I’ve shot all year. Both of them were happy to climb over the cliffs.
Their stylish blue suits really stood out.
The autumn colours were to die for!
A great view of the bridge from the hotel.
Set up details for dinner.
Dinner was very informal and we finished it off with a few speeches.
Instead of a traditional cake cutting and first dance, the boys opted for a game of murder mystery with the family. Before I left I pulled out the sparkler photo for the final photos. Congratulations to both Scott and David, I wish them all the best for the future. It was a beautiful Killin Wedding.
