Date: 7th of April 2016
Venue: Plane Castle, near Stirling
Hidden in the country just off the M9 near Stirling is this adorable little Castle. Perfect for small weddings with its stunning interior and beautiful gardens. I arrived on a lovely sunny day and couldn’t wait to get started.
I met Rosie and her bridesmaids Kirsty, Amber and Robyn as they were getting ready in a beautiful room in the castle. Everyone was excited about the day ahead and it was so relaxed as they had the castle for the whole weekend.
Rosie with all her bridesmaids.
Stevie was waiting patiently for his bride to arrive.
Rosie was walked into the room by her son, George, who looked really proud and happy for his Mum.
Rosie and Stevie opted to have a humanist ceremony so it was all about them and how they met. These are definitely my favourite ceremonies to shoot.
As it was a bit cold outside we shot all the group photos in the drawing room in front of this amazing fireplace.
We then headed outside to explore the castle grounds.
The castle was very quirky – I loved this spiral staircase.
The beautiful details laid out by Rosie.
Finally the whole party settled down for dinner. Thank you so much to Rosie and Stevie for having me as their wedding photographer. It was a joy to spend the day with their family and friends.
