I travelled up to Inverurie for the fabulous Pittodrie House wedding with Kathryn and Russell. I had my second photographer, Jayne, on hand to help me out too. We visited the venue the night before to have a walk around the grounds. We were so impressed with the venue, it is beautiful inside and out so we were very excited!
Kathryn and Russell both got ready at the hotel. Kathryn’s room was the highest room in the tallest tower (very disney princess!). She had her sisters who heleed her get ready. She wore a stunning lace dress which really suited her style and matched in perfectly with the day.
The ceremony took place in the main room, Russell was so excited to see his future wife walk down the aisle. The ceremony was lovely, with lots of laughter.
Afterwards we took the group photos outside. Lucky for us the weather was dry and not too cold. We then took Kathryn and Russell to a few locations for their couple photos. I loved this door we found round the back of the house!
We photographed the speeches and had a break whilst waiting for the party to get going at night. They had a great band so everyone was up on the dance floor. I photographed the dancing whilst Jayne set up and shot the photo booth.
We also snuck outside later on at night for some night shots. They wanted to realise a lantern to symbolise their marriage.
The party continued indoors til the small hours of the morning. They sure had a fantastic day!
