Marianne & Chris aced their beautiful engagement shoot at the Kelpies a few months back so I was excited to see them again and bring their wedding day together. Not only were we in the beautiful town of South Queensferry but we had sunny and dry weather – we really lucked out.
I joined Marianne as she was getting ready with the ladies in Orocco Pier. The Forth Rail Bridge is an iconic view here so we used some props to help capture that.
I met Chris and both Dads in the downstairs bar. They were all looking handsome so I quickly got them outside for some pics.
Marianne chose an absolutely stunning dress that really suited her.
Chris looked stunned as Marianne walked down the aisle.
The had a short but beautiful ceremony with a few readings from close family. The bay windows looked over the bridge making a perfect setting.
We headed out to the patio with the bridal party and family for group photos.
We then took a stroll down to the pier for some photos of just the two of them.
I love the old cobbled streets of Queensferry.
Luckily the tide was out so we headed to the beach.
I absolutely loved this cake made by a family friend.
We sat down for speeches and dinner. Penguins was a heavy theme and we got alot of laughs throughout.
Just one of those amazing sunsets.
In the evening all the family and friends gathered on the beach for some sparkler fun!
Mr & Mrs Hendry then took their first dance as husband and wife. Afterwards all the family and friends gathered on the floor to dance the night away.
Congratulations to the happy couple! It was a beautiful Orocco Pier Wedding.
