Date: 8th September 2017
Venue: Milling Barn, Throcking
Ah how we do love an English wedding. This was my second one in 2 weeks so I was delighted to be heading back down south again and this time for the beautiful wedding of Charlotte and Alan. Charlotte explained her wedding to me as – rustic, country, barn – and I was hooked. There is nothing I love more than those beautiful wooden English barns, perfect setting for a wedding.
I also had my good friend Hiral working with me to make sure we captured everything needed from the day.
I joined Charlotte as she was getting ready at her Aunties house with her hoard of 10 bridesmaids…..luckily it was a big house.
Charlotte styled her bridesmaids in different dresses but similar tones. I loved it.
Charlottes dress was stunning and such a great fit for her.
I headed to the church to meet up with Hiral and the boys as they were waiting in anticipation for the girls to arrive.
They had a beautiful ceremony performed by Kathryn Taylor.
After we lined the bridal party outside for some confetti shots!
I loved all the details coming together at the barn.
A classic red London bus escorted the guests to the venue, whilst bride and groom hopped in a gorgeous cadillac.
Ice cream was served during photos as we wanted to capture a fun, informal feel for the day.
We had some lovely speeches (and poems) from the Bride, Groom, Brides Uncle and Best Man
In the evening after dinner (and after several rain showers) we took Charlotte and Alan out for some sunset shots.
It was so dark when we finished, winter really is on its way. We headed back in for first dance.
Guests then joined them on the dance floor to party the night away. Thank you so much to Charlotte and Alan for trusting me with their wedding day and inviting me all the way down to England. It was a beautiful Milling Barn Wedding.
