Lynn & Craig’s Marlins Wynd Wedding in Edinburgh

urban and alternative

Date: 2nd of March 2015

Venue: Marlins Wynd, Edinburgh

Lynn and Craig got married in one of Edinburgh’s most unusual wedding venues, Marlins Wynd. It is built in the vaults underneath Edinburgh and together with its atmospheric lighting, it looks fantastic. It is set in the historic Old Town so right in the city centre. Perfect for alternative weddings which is exactly what Lynn & Craig were looking for.

I met them both at Marlins Wynd on a cold winters day.

They had a lovely short ceremony. The lighting in the venue makes it look very atmospheric.

The sun came out just as we were heading for photos, perfect. Lynn and Craig were looking for something a little alternative for their photos, so I found a lane that was full of grafitti – they loved it!

I love the colours in these photos.

We headed to Victoria St. in Edinburgh. Probably the most famous street, due to its shape and old buildings. It makes a perfect setting for photos.

Their cake was amazing! Probably one of the best cakes Ive seen.

Back at Marlins Wynd, Lynn & Craig organised a magician to entertain their guests. He was fantastic. Once they all went in and sat down for dinner I headed off. A perfect Marlins Wynd Wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple!
