Venue: The George Hotel, Inveraray

After a beautiful morning drive from Bute to Inveraray (one of my favourite towns ever!) I joined Gemma and her bridesmaids in Furnace at her Mums house. All the girls were very calm and prepared. I photographed all the little details – dress, shoes and flowers. Max, Gemma and Neils little boy was busy watching TV whilst the girls got him dressed in his gorgeous little kilt! The ladies then got themselves organised before we headed down the road to furnace church.

It was such a nice little church inside, very bright and spacious, making all the difference when coming to the photos. They had a lovely ceremony watched by family and friends, not forgetting all the villagers who turned up outside to catch a glimpse of Gemma’s beautiful lace dress!

The shinty club gave them a send off too.

t was one of those days where you get 4 seasons in the space of 10 minutes so it was pretty windy outside the church but as we travelled up to Inveraray Castle the sun started to shine. We did all of the group photos here. We had to take a break due to some rain and hail but the sun was back out 5 minutes later.

rain break.

We took a walk into the woods too.

After photos here we headed back down to The George Hotel. This hotel has always been a favourite of mine, amazing food! and they had a beautifully decorated conservatory at the back set up for the wedding.

A good laugh during the speeches.

After dinner I took Gemma and Neil back out for a few photos as the sun was setting. It is a thing I love to do in the summer as the light is always much better in the evening and you get some beautiful skies.

A peaceful evening on Inveraray High Street.

The couple hired a local duo to do the music for them, their first dance was Caledonia and the guys sang and played it so well! I stayed til late to capture the guests dancing and having fun before heading back to Falkirk. This was a beautiful Inveraray Wedding! Congratulations and thanks for having me 🙂
