Ingliston Country Club Wedding with Isla & Joe

featuring donkeys, ponies and alpacas

By Jacqui Paterson In Uncategorised

Date: Fri 14th Dec // Venue: Ingliston County Club, Bishopton

It was one of the most highly anticipated weddings of the year. Mainly because it was a first for Ingliston Country Club Marquee set up (which I hear they will be doing more of) but also because Joe is from my home town on the Isle of Bute and there was a slight buzz on social media. Everyone was getting excited about it…including me. I drove to Isla’s parents farm where the girls were getting ready.

Before Isla could get her dress on, she continued with her farmer duties with feeding her pet donkeys.

Isla had some amazing bridesmaids on the day, all being attentive and helping her get ready. They were the best team!

Islas Dad looked stunned to see his little girl in her wedding dress.

I headed over to Inchinnan Parish Church in Renfrew to meet the boys and get ready for the arrival of the bride.

Proud Dad, Campbell, walked his daughter down the aisle to her husband to be.

Isla and Joe chose a traditional Church of Scotland wedding performed by Alison McBrier.

After they headed up the aisle as a Mr & Mrs, we headed to a rather windy and bitterly cold Ingliston Country Club where Isla and Joe braved the weather for their photos.

The Bridal Party

The feature guests for the day included the Alpacas!

We were the very first wedding to use the Marquee set up at Ingliston Country Club. Isla and Joe chose to go with a beautiful Christmas theme.

Isla and Joe headed into the marquee to cut the cake and then went straight into speeches. All the speakers were very entertaining and kept the guests laughing.

Later on in the evening we headed outside as everything was lit up and looked great for photos.

Finally we headed back inside the Joe and Isla’s first dance as a married couple. Isla then joined her Dad for a traditional father/daughter dance. The guests then poured onto the dance floor to party the night away. Thank you so much to everyone involved for a great day, it was a beautiful Ingliston Country Club Wedding.
