Date: 23rd July 2015
Venue: Hunting Tower Hotel, Perth
I was delighted to be asked to photograph Emma & Craig’s wedding at the Hunting Tower Hotel in Perth. I travelled up a few weeks before to have a look around the grounds, it got me really excited and full of ideas for their day. I couldn’t wait.
I met Emma at the hotel in the morning, she had just finished having her hair and make up done so they were running on time and spent the next couple of hours relaxing in the hotel room. If only all weddings ran as smoothly as this – haha.
Emma and her family having some drinks and chilling.
Emma had her Maid of Honour – Sam and her Mother and Stepmother on had to help out with the last details. Emma is very lucky to be surrounded by close family and friends.
I headed out to the gardens to meet Craig and his bestman Derek. Craig was a wee bit nervous but looked handsome in his kilt.
It was a last minute decision to have the ceremony inside. Emma was hoping for an outdoor but the rain over the past few days had made the ground wet and muddy. It was a good choice as 10 minutes into the ceremony the heavens opened and on came the heaviest rain ever!
Emma & Craig both decided to have a small wedding with just family and very close friends. Their ceremony was very beautiful, both of them a little nervous but relaxing once they were man and wife.
Just like clockwork, the sun shone again and out we went for group photos. I love this confetti shot!

After the group photos I took Emma & Craig for a walk around the grounds. This was the part I was looking forward to as The Hunting Tower Hotel had so many locations for photos.
The sun shone perfectly through the trees.
For our last location we headed to a wheat field just outside the hotel grounds.
The beautiful decor inside the Hunting Tower Hotel.
As it was a small wedding, they had one big long table for everyone to sit at together. During the speeches I got to hear some funny stories about both Emma and Craig.
It was really nice to be part of their special day, especially since it was such a small group of people. Thank you so much to both of them for having me along and for their enthusiastic approach to the photographs. I hope you have some lovely memories to treasure for the rest of your lives together.
A beautiful Hunting Tower Hotel Wedding.
