Date: 10th November 2017
It was a bitterly cold but crisp morning when I arrived at the Grange Manor Hotel. Just another Scottish day for us though. I was excited to photograph Ian and Laurie’s wedding as I had photographed Ian’s sister Nicci’s Wedding the previous year so it was great to see the family again and work with some familiar faces. Ian and his groomsmen arrived in good time at the hotel to greet guests.
Laurie arrived a little later with her Mum and bridesmaids in tow. Not forgetting pageboy, Jacob.
Laurie looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with Mum, May.
Ian looked a little nervous but they has a beautiful ceremony.
Everyone braved the cold wind to come outside for photos. Well done guys!
Ian and Laurie had a little bit of time on their own.
They didn’t feel the cold at all due to all the excitement of the day.
Back inside they had a beautiful snow flake themed cake make at Darrell’s.
I loved the decor, especially the Star Wars themed tables.
In great tradition, Ian and Laurie were piped in and the piper given a dram by the bride.
We heard some lovely speeches, especially from Laurie’s Uncle who read a piece that her Dad wrote before he passed. It was very touching to hear.
I let these guys enjoy their dinner and cam back in the evening for the first dance.
Thank you so much to Ian and Laurie for having me as their photographer. It was a beautiful Grange Manor Wedding.
