lots of fun and laughter

Date: 25th of April 2015

Venue: The Grange Manor, Falkirk

I joined Laura-Ann in the morning as she was getting ready at her parents house with her bridesmaids and little boy Tyler. As well as getting photos of the dresses and shoes, its always nice to get to know and chat everyone when Im there and this was no problem for Tyler, who, practiced all his Spanish vocabulary on me. I always thought I was pretty good but Tyler put me to shame! haha.

Once all the girls were ready, I took some photos and then headed over to the Grange Manor. It was good to be back in this venue again, the staff are always so helpful. I met Gary for a few photos with the boys before they were ushered inside. The bride then turned up, Laura looked really stunning in her dress, the style really suited her.

The ceremony was performed by a family friend so the event was really enjoyable and had a few funny moments, always good for photos!

We headed outside after the ceremony for the photos. The sun was shining and it was pretty windy so I had to make sure the photos were done in a sheltered area. Also a chimney sweep popped out to congratulate them and had some photos! It used to be a big tradition and signifies good luck in the marriage. The bride and groom were pretty stunned but it was a good laugh. I have to say that was my first chimney sweep too.

With the sun shining the gardens looked amazing so really great space for photos. Laura-Ann had a long veil on and the wind kept catching it. This black and white shot above is one of my favourites of the day. Its one of those things you cant set up it just happens and I clicked at the right moment.

The Grange Manor doing a fantastic job with the tables.

The beautiful cake.

I photographed the speeches, again, all really funny stories – everyone had a good laugh.

After dinner we popped back outside for photos in the evening. The sun was shining it looked perfect.

The first dance was really romantic. I then set up the photo booth. Its a fun time when guests come and get their photos taken, especially after a few drinks, haha. Gary did a really great job in choosing the band, they were excellent! I took a few more shots of everyone on the dance floor before heading home. It really was a lovely Grange Manor Wedding. Congratulations!
