A Grange Manor Wedding with Alan & Kayleigh

the best day

Date: 4th of July 2015

Venue: Grange Manor, Falkirk

I was excited about photographing Alan & Kayleigh’s Grange Manor Wedding. I have met them both before a few times and they were very relaxed about planning their big day. I knew that it would be easy to capture their love for each other in my photos.

I met Alan at the Grange Manor with his brother and best man, Ian, his ushers and page boy. I loved the choice of tartan Alan chose. It was very smart and fitted in perfectly with the gold colours of his wedding.

Kayleigh came down the aisle with her Dad. She looked absolutely stunning. Alan & Kayleigh chose a humanist ceremony. I really enjoy humanist ceremonies as its a bit more personal for the bride and groom.

Luckily it was a dry day so we managed to get outside for photos. The Grange Manor has a beautiful small garden perfect for pictures.

I loved their table decorations including birdcages and their beautiful macaroon themed cake!

The speeches were so funny, Iain did a great job at telling us all about Alan’s mischievous ways when he was younger.

The sun came out for a little bit after dinner so I took Alan & Kayleigh back out for a few more photos.

We headed back inside for the cake cutting and first dance.

I stayed for a little longer as their guests were having such a great time, I had to get some photos of them on the dance floor. Thanks so much to Alan and Kayleigh for having me. I wish them all the best for the future.
