Date: 1st of July 2017
Venue: Glenskirlie House
Right in the thick of wedding season with so many different bride, grooms and venues, I was excited to be back working with Mark & Clare on their special day. We already had an amazing engagement shoot a few months back and even though they both think they are awkward in front of the camera, they aced it. Now the official day is here and I was ready to go 🙂 I travelled down to Uddingston first to meet Clare and the bridesmaids as they were getting ready.
I loved all the details that Clare picked out including bridesmaids dresses with pockets!
I think we can all agree that Clare is a natural beauty.
All the girls wore their hair down…I absolutely loved the style.
Clare looks stunning in her dress.
I travelled to Motherwell Cathedral to catch up with Mark and the boys. The suits were amazing, no kilts in this party.
The weather started to take a turn for the worst but it didn’t put too much of a dampener on the day.
Mark waited patiently for his bride to appear.
Quickly just before it rained, all the bridal party.
As it was such a beautiful Cathedral we stepped back in for a few photos.
We arrived at Glenskirlie House and were met with heavy rain. We decided to put off the photos til after dinner, in hope that it would clear up.
We had lots of wonderful speeches starting with Groom, Mark, Grooms Dad, Jim – Maid of Honor, Connie and finally Best man, Scott – who I think we can safely say stole the show.
Finally Scotland was playing ball and we got a bit of time outside.
A bit of girls v boys going on.
Finally we settled inside for cake cutting and first dance. The Band – Classic Noir – had everyone up on the dance floor from the moment they started.
Thanks so much to Clare and Mark for having me at their Glenskirlie House Wedding. It was an amazing day and I wish them both all the best.
