A Gean House Wedding with Roslyn & Mark

a magical day

By Jacqui Paterson In Weddings

Date: 12th July 2016

Venue: Gean House, Alloa

Gean House is one of my favourite wedding venues in the local area so it was great to be heading back with Roslyn and Mark. It had been so long ago when they both got in touch to book so I was excited to work with them and get started on their special day.

I met Roslyn at her house where she was getting ready with her Mum and sister. I loved her Irregular Choice shoes. She had a green theme going on as it was one of her favourite colours.

The details on Roslyns dress were stunning.

Her Dad got quite emotional seeing her in her dress.

I then headed over to the church to meet Mark who was looking very handsome in his kilt.

They had a beautiful Catholic ceremony in the St. Mary of the Angels Church.

We then headed to the beautiful Gean House for their reception.

All the guests together in the gardens.

It rained a little at the start of photos but it soon cleared up.

I loved this ‘under the veil’ shot.

A lovely toast with the piper and then onto speeches.

In the evening they had first dance together as husband and wife – then father/daughter and mother/son dances.

After that the guests were ready to party the night away! Congratulations to the happy couple it was a beautiful Gean House Wedding.
