Date: 13th of June 2014
Venue: Gate Street Barn, Surrey
The best part of my job is getting to travel to new and exciting places for weddings, so when Rosie and Rob asked me to travel down to Surrey for there english country barn wedding, I couldn’t refuse. I had Jayne helping me out too. I went to Rosie’s mums house where se was getting ready and Jayne went to meet the boys.
Rosie had a beautiful lace dress and her hair/make up was very natural. We took photos of the girls in the garden before I left to the church, where I met up with Jayne.
The church and ceremony was beautiful.
We headed to the reception at Gate Street Barn.
The sun was shining down on us so everyone was out in the gardens drinking pimms – yum! But we had work to do so started to round everyone up for photos. The group shot is always the hardest to do – but once you get it right, it works!
After photos were done we took the bride and groom away for photos by themselves. It was not hard to find a picture perfect place with these beautiful surroundings!
The boys just hanging out.
Inside Gate Street Barn. The building is beautiful. You don’t get barns like this in Scotland!
Rosie and Rob cutting their cake.
Each table had a nominated person who served a roast. What a great idea!
The highly entertained speeches came after dinner.
Rosie and Rob had a fish and chip van and 10 pin bowling out in the garden!!! Lots of activities for their guests at the wedding.
After the first dance, the dancefloor was packed for most of the night. People were relaxing and having a good time – these guys really knew how to party!
This venue and wedding is one of my favourites I would definitely love to shoot a Gate Street Barn Wedding again!!!
