Date: 23rd of August 2014
Venue: Private Farm, Farnham, Surrey
In my few years of living in London, most of these were spent working with Kyra. Kyra asked me to travel down to photograph her barn wedding, something I couldn’t refuse. The couple had spent months doing up an old farm which belonged to Kyra’s family. They redecorated the barn where they would be getting married and built a marquee for the reception. I was lucky enough to visit the venue the day before – it was stunning. Guests would be sitting on bales of hay, fairy lights were decorated everywhere and there was to big windows to let the light in so it wasn’t too dark. I spent the morning with Kyra as she was getting ready.
All the girls were very excited and it was a beautiful summers day outside so we couldn’t of asked for better weather. Once they were all ready, I took them outside the flat for a few photos together before we headed to the farm.
At the farm, everyone was already inside the barn so I shuffled down to the front, ready to capture all the action. They had their good friend conducting the ceremony so it was very personal and fun for the guests.
After the ceremony, I got everyone outside for group photos and some fun pics with the boys, we then headed over to the marquee for our hog roast dinner.
Kyra and Andy hired a trampoline for their guests to enjoy.
Every single detail made by the bride and groom, amazing!
As the sun was setting, I took some more photos of the couple and their son, Zac, as the light is perfect around this time.
They had their first dance together and then had a casino company come and set up so everyone could play! it was definitely a first for me! The whole day and night was amazing and I was so glad to be there! As I have said before, no place is too far for me to travel. I loved their Surrey Wedding!
