An Edinburgh Castle Wedding with Daisy & Jamie

a wedding that attracted the crowds

Venue: Edinburgh Castle

It was a beautiful summers day in Scotland, always a plus for photos! I met Daisy at her Mum and Dad’s house in Bo’ness. She was having a lovely time getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. Daisy wore a lovely fishtail wedding dress which really suited her. I then drove to Edinburgh and climbed up to the castle to meet Jamie.       They were due to get married in the smallest chapel which only fits 20 guests, so the rest of their friends were meeting them at the Apex International Hotel where they were having the reception. The wedding car drove right up to the chapel through the crowds at Edinburgh. Daisy certainly got the celebrity treatment as all the tourists crowded round her to take photos!

In the chapel the ceremony was small and intimate, perfect for what they wanted.

We managed to have a few photos up in the castle but again it was crazy trying to keep the crowds at bay. Jamie was also attracting a lot of attention in his kilt! haha.

The view from Edinburgh Castle.

We took the car and went to a few locations around the city before heading to their reception at the Apex in the Grassmarket.

They had a beautiful balcony that looks over to the castle so we had to make the most of this opportunity and go out to take some photos. They looked really good with Edinburgh Castle behind them. They continued the day with dinner and then the evening entertainment. I hope that Daisy and Jamie had a fantastic Edinburgh Castle Wedding.
