Date: 18th of October 2015
Venue: Dalziel Park, Motherwell
I was lucky enough to squeeze in one last beautiful autumn wedding. Liz & Jim have been together for almost 20 years so Jim took it upon himself to book a date for the wedding and then proceeded to tell Liz after. Ofcourse she was happy to go along with it all and then followed a lovely Dalziel Park wedding.
Jim has his son James as his best man.
The Ladies got ready in a house just across from the hotel.
Liz had her daughter Fiona as her Maid of Honour and the two Grandchildren – Eva and Lucy as flowergirls.
Liz was walked down the aisle by Fiona and greeted by a delighted husband to be.
It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony performed by humanist – Steven McKerr.
Afterward we took everyone out to the gardens for a group shot.
Eva and Lucy looked gorgeous in their dresses.
Liz’s dress was complimented by the golden autumn colours. We were lucky to have dry weather.
The stylish stationary was designed by Laura Quinn.
A simple but elegant cake was made by Tiers and the staff at Dalziel Park did a great job on making up the room.
After dinner lots of laughs were had during the speeches.
Liz & Jim and their first dance.
All the guests had a great time partying away to the band – Notorious. Thanks so much to Liz & Jim for having me as there wedding photographer. I had a great time spending the day with their friends and family. Also special mention to Liz’s daughter Fiona who organised the whole day – it was amazing!
