Venue: Brigodoon, Ayr Date: 17th May 2019
I have met Lorraine and Paul at a few of my weddings and finally it was their turn to be married. They chose the stunning Brig’o’doon down in Ayr. The sun was blazing so we couldn’t of had a more perfect day. I met Paul as he arrived with his best man and ushers. Lorraine had sent him a special gift so I managed to capture his reaction.
As Paul stayed out the front to greet guests I headed upstairs to see the girls. Lorraine looked stunning in her dress and I loved that it had pockets!
Guests gathered in the main hall of Brig’o’doon and Lorraine was walked down the aisle by her Dad. Paul got very emotional as he saw his beautiful bride walking towards him.
The had a fantastic humanist ceremony performed by Brian Hawkins who was extremely funny and put everyone at ease.
Afterwards all the guests headed out into the courtyard to enjoy the sun.
After group photos I managed to steal Paul and Lorraine away for a few photos. We ventured up onto the bridge and made our way round the gardens.
I loved the decor.
Mark the magician kept all the guests entertained.
After this we all headed back in for speeches, cake cutting and dinner.
We took some time out after dinner to capture some photos in the evening light.
Lorraine and Paul came in to their first dance. All the guests them joined them for a party on the dance floor provided by the wedding band The Dawn Patrol. It was a beautiful wedding and I thank both the bride and groom for having me as their wedding photographer. It was a beautiful brigodoon wedding.
