Date: 5th of May 2014
Venue: Brig O’doon House Hotel, Ayr
Maure is from America and had BIG ideas for her wedding – which I was loving! They wanted me to use a second shooter on this wedding so they could capture the boys getting ready too.
Maure got ready at her own house in Saltcoats with all her beautiful bridesmaids. She was so excited and happy in the morning making her a joy to photograph and be around. All the girls helped her get ready before we got into the car and headed to the local church.
It was a beautiful Catholic Mass ceremony with lots of guests and the priest was very entertaining too.
As the couple came out of the church we did a confetti shot – my fav!
We then did some group shots at the church and headed 20 minutes down the road to Brig O’doon House Hotel. It was a beautiful day so everyone gathered outside for a big group shot and then we did some lovely couple photos on the amazing grounds.
They made a grand entrance for dinner. The speeches were very emotional and moving.
After dinner the couple were keen to do more photos so we took an evening stroll around the grounds of Brig O’doon House Hotel.
Maure and David had a beautifully choreographed first dance, which everyone was amazed by.
Then the party started and it was a crazy party! I couldn’t tell you who was making the most noise the Americans or the Scottish but they partied so well together and I captured some amazing moments. Once the band were on a break we got everyone back outside to do this sparkler shot – it looks Amazing! This was an awesome brig O’doon Wedding!!
