Date: 28th July 2017
Venue: Blythswood Sq, Glasgow
I was looking forward to another beautiful wedding at Blythswood Sq Hotel in Glasgow. Such a stunning venue and I always love a wander into the gardens across the road. I started at Ann’s house where she was getting ready with her Mum and Sister.
Ann’s Nephew and Niece – Luke and Jessica.
It was such a lovely morning with the family and everyone was very relaxed. No hectic running about at this wedding!
Ann looked absolutely stunning in her dress.
I headed over to the Blythswood to meet John and his brother/bestman, Garry.
The sun was shining as Ann and Elison arrived.
I absolutely love this shot from the entrance.
John was a little nervous as he waited for his bride to arrive.
Ann was walked down the aisle by her Mum, Elison.
They had a humanist ceremony performed by Brian Hawkins, who was very entertaining. I loved hearing the story of how Ann and John met and ‘incidents’ that happened on their first few dates together.
Glasgow was still hitting us with some sun so we headed across the road to the gardens for group photos.
I took Ann and John for a little walk around the gardens to get some photos by themselves.
The guests listened to the Edinburgh String Ensemble as they waited for dinner. The kids were amazing!
Blythswood Square always do an amazing jobs of styling the wedding.
Speeches were next and it was a joy to photograph all the laughter.
We headed to the Castle Rooms in Uddingston for their evening reception.
They cut the cake and first dance in front of all their family and friends.
The evening band were Goldstar and they got everyone up on the dancefloor to help the couple celebrate.
Thanks to Ann & John for having me as there photographer and I wish them all the best for the future. It was a beautiful Blythswood Square Hotel Wedding.
