Date: 14th October 2017
It was another fabulous day in October and what better way to spend it than in the beautiful Benmore Botanic Gardens near Dunoon, Argyll. We were full on in Autumn season so the colours were amazing! Better than that, Catriona and Mike opted for an outdoor ceremony so I couldn’t wait. I headed to a nearby lodge where Catriona was getting ready with her bridesmaids Kirsty and Vicki.
The girls opted for sandals and converse – a wise choice when its an outdoor ceremony.
Catriona looked amazing in her dress.
Catriona kept the theme of her wedding rustic and wild to match her outdoor ceremony and venue.
I loved the old buildings and courtyard where the wedding was based.
Mike and bestman Steve where making sure everything was ready for the arrival of Catriona. Both looking dashing in there kilts. Mike suits being a Scot.
Guests gathered in the courtyard ready to enter the gardens for the ceremony.
Catriona was walked down the aisle by proud Dad, Alan.
They had a lovely ceremony performed by Cece Alderton. Both Mums took part and we had a few readings from family members.
Guests made their way back to the marquee for cake, coffee and tea.
I took the bridal party back into the gardens.
We then spent the next half hour wandering around the gardens taking some amazing photos.
I love the Autumn colours.
We had so many places for photos.
Dinner was served in a beautiful converted shed.
After dinner it started to rain so we decided to take advantage of it.
We then continued the evening back inside with the first dance followed by the guests taking to the dance floor to enjoy the rest of the night. Thanks to Mike and Catriona for having me along. What an amazing Benmore Botanic Gardens Wedding.
