Nothing like a quiet Thursday afternoon wedding with all your close family and friends. That is exactly what John and Rebecca wanted. Lucky for them, after a crazy morning of rain, the weather ended up being super hot and sunny…only in Scotland. Not just that but we were in South Queensferry at Orocco Pier with beautiful view of the forth and the bridges.
I met John and his family first for some getting ready photos.
Rebecca looked beautiful – here she is with her two children.
John looked gobsmacked as his wife to be was walking down the aisle.
I love the ceremony room in Orocco Pier, beautiful light from the windows.
Guestes mingled and congratulated the happy couple.
We were fortunate enough to do group photos on the beach as the tide was out.
I took John and Rebecca for a walk on their own.
We headed down onto the pier and through the old town
Piper, Ian Grant, piped us back up to the hotel – stopping traffic on the way.
I loved all the simple details.
As they had such a small wedding party, they had dinner and speeches upstairs in the restaurant. It was lovely to hear from their family and friends.
Thank you to Rebecca and John for inviting me along for the afternoon. I wish them all the best. It was a beautiful Orocco Pier Wedding.
