I turned up to Lynsey and Darrens wedding with a word of warning that there would be heavy rain and thunderstorms later on in the day but thats just a normal day in Scotland so onwards we went! Nobody let the weather warnings get to them and I arrived at the lodge where Lynsey and all her bridesmaids were in good spirits.
The talented Leigh Blaney was the make up artist for the day.
Mother of the bride and bridesmaids gathered outside the lodge in their matching gowns.
Once the bridesmaids were ready, they then helped Lynsey into her stunning dress. I loved the detail at the back of the dress.
Lynsey shared a special moment with her Gran before heading down the aisle.
Just as we were outside for photos, the heavens opened.
Lynsey looked so happy despite the weather.
Darren waiting patiently for his bride to arrive.
Lynsey’s proud Dad walked her down the aisle. Kirsty Harvey performed a beautiful Humanist ceremony.
The bridal party.
Luckily for us the rain cleared up in time for photos. We used the beautiful bandstand.
I loved the table decor, Lynsey designed the whole wedding to feature her favourite colour, Orange.
Just before dinner the speeches were given. We heard from Adrian, Lynsey’s Dad – Groom, Darren and Best Man, Colin.
After dinner I took Lynsey and Darren across the road to take in some of the stunning views over the clyde.
And we got a bit more time with the bridal party.
It was then time for the first dance and for the night to begin.
A photobooth set up meant there were props to dance with. They had excellent entertainment from the Kicks who had everyone up on the dance floor for most of the night.
Thank you so much to Darren and Lynsey for having me as their photographer. It was an amazing Ingilston Country Club Wedding.
