Date: 12th of October 2016
Venue: Ardanaiseig Hotel, Argyll
For me there is nothing better than waking up early doors for a beautiful drive across Scotland’s countryside. This hidden gem of a hotel (so hidden, I nearly got lost) is just one of the many reasons I love my job. The surroundings and the hotel itself was a stunning location for Nicky & Ross’s Wedding and I couldn’t wait to get started.
I headed up to the room where the girls (and baby Euan) were getting ready.
It was lovely to work with LeeAnne from LeeAnne Fraser Make Up again 🙂
Groom – Ross, Bestman – Steven and 4 year old – Luke all looked handsome in their kilts.
Nicky made a stunning bride.
Ross and Nicky decided to get married outside in the Amphitheatre at the bottom of the garden. Sure it was October and slightly chilly but it was amazing.
Views over Loch Awe.
The piper walked everyone back up to the hotel for some drinks and to keep warm.
The bridal party.
A beautiful family.
All the gorgeous details of the day.
Ross & Nicky took full advantage of the beautiful gardens. As they had a smaller wedding we had loads of time to explore and take beautiful pictures. I can’t thank them enough!
Very few venues were you can get beach, gardens and woodland!
We were absolutely loving the Autumn colours.
Beautiful flowers by the Flowerhouse in Oban.
After dinner they had a few small speeches to thank everyone for coming.
Euan supervised as Mum and Dad cut their cake. He also tested it too.
Ross and Nicky had a beautiful first dance and then spent the rest of the evening relaxing with their close friends and family. I can’t thank them enough for a beautiful day. It was a stunning Ardanaiseig Hotel Wedding.
