Date: 30th December 2016
Venue: Airth Castle, Airth
A year had past since I last met up with Kat & Scott when we done their Engagement shoot in Edinburgh. It feels like time has flown in! I was excited to get started on my last wedding of the year. I met Kat in Airth Castle Hotel where she was getting ready.
Mum, Kelly, and bridesmaids came all the way over from Canada and were on hand to keep the day running smoothly.
Kat chose beautiful red colours for her wedding which suited the winter perfectly.
The girls were piped up to the castle were flowergirls Briony and Eilidh were waiting.
Scott showed some nerves as he was waiting for his bride.
Kat looked absolutely stunning as she came down the aisle.
The had a beautiful humanist ceremony performed by the wonderful Mary Wallace.
We stayed inside for group photos. We took a photo with all the Canadians and then they got in for a group hug!
The bridal party.
We headed out for couple photos in the cold but both Scott and Kat handled it well.
Kat had made a shawl out of Scott’s family tartan.
The wind worked in our favour.
Kat absolutely enjoyed every second of her day.
The guests were then piped down to the Hotel for dinner.
I loved all the details and the room set up.
In Scottish tradition, Scott addressed the Haggis before dinner.
We got to listen to some amazing speeches.
After dinner we continued with the first dance as husband and wife.
All the guests rushed onto the dance floor to continue dancing the night away. We even managed to squeeze in some Ceilidh and Line dancing. I would like to wish Kat & Scott all the happiness in the world. It was a beautiful Airth Castle Wedding.
