Date: 10th August 2018
Venue: Airth Castle, Airth
Jade and Ross came all the way over from Australia for their wedding day! Both of them now live there but Ross is from Scotland and they had they heart set on getting married in the beautiful Scottish countryside so what better than Airth Castle Hotel. Beautiful surroundings and enough room to hold all their local and international guests. I joined Jade as she was getting ready at the hotel with her bridesmaids.
I met Ross and his groomsmen in the hotel bar.
Beautiful detailed Make Up by Claire Park.
Jade looked absolutely stunning in her dress.
Jade was piped up to the Castle.
Those final touches…
Ross looked excited to get the ceremony going.
Jade was walked down the aisle by her Uncle.
They had some beautiful moments and reading throughout the ceremony.
We got all the guests outside for a group confetti photo.
We had a bright sunny day so I tried to keep them in the shade for the photos.
We ventured down the back of the castle into the gardens, not alot of people know that its there.
Capturing the details…
As always in Scotland you can’t get a bit of sun without rain. As we were marching down to the hotel the heavens opened!!!
I loved Jade’s elegant decor!
A stunning cake by A Cherry on Top.
The speeches were full of laughter and we heard some great stories.
During the meal Jade and Ross organised a Dragon Dance for their guests. It is an old Chinese tradition.
After the cake cutting the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. The guests then joined them to party the night away. Congratulations to both Jade and Ross and thank you for having me. It was a beautiful Airth Castle Wedding.
