Date: 4th March 2017
Venue: Linlithgow Burgh Halls
I was finally back after enjoying a few months break in the quiet season and what better way to start it by shooting my friends wedding. Jacqui & William chose the stunning Linlithgow Burgh Halls as their venue, a place I have been looking forward to shooting for a while. Whilst the weather was a bit grey and damp (typical Scottish weather) I knew we were gonna have a great day ahead of us.
William was looking handsome in his kilt with his two best men Steven and Russell by his side.
Jacqui arrived a little later looking stunning in her dress.
Bridesmaid Stephanie held Eva’s hand as they walked down the aisle together. Eva was a little excited to be a flowergirl at Mummy & Daddys wedding.
Jacqui & William opted for a humanist ceremony performed by the fantastic Norrie Flowers. Humanist ceremonies tend to be a bit more personal and fun.
They added in some old Scottish traditions including tieing the knot and exchanging a rose.
After the ceremony guests mingled in the bar area whilst family photos were being taken.
A beautiful family.
Even though it was slightly wet outside, Jacqui & William braved it. We headed up to Linlithgow Palace for a few photos.
Eva decided to join us for a few.
And its actually raining here…they were both stars 🙂
The wedding party all headed to Livingstons for dinner and drinks.
After dinner we were entertained by speeches from Father of the Bride, Derek, William and best man Russell.
We headed back to the Burgh Halls for cake cutting and dancing.
Ernest provided the entertainment, keeping the guests up dancing for most of the night.
Thank you Jacqui & William for having me as their photographer. It was a great Linlithgow Burgh Halls Wedding and a great start to the year! Congratulations!
