Date: 22nd of September 2018

Venue: Kingarth Hotel, Isle of Bute

Its always lovely to head to the beautiful Isle of Bute. Mainly because I grew up there and its nice to go back for a visit but also because its so stunning, everywhere you turn another amazing view! I met Gillian at a farmhouse where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready. It was great to work with two other girls from the Island, Helen on Hair and Leanne on Make Up.

Gillian put a lot of thought into the details, gifts, hangers, robes all for the bridesmaids.

Gillians dress was stunning.

Andrew and the boys arrived casually by an old farm tractor. Beautifully painted I may add.

Gillian topped off her entrance by arriving in a stunning Horse and Cart. Accompanied by her Granddad who was walking her down the aisle.

They had a lovely ceremony at the High Kirk Church in Rothesay with minister Owain Jones. The lovely thing about Bute is that all the locals wait for you outside the church, which makes a fabulous exit!

We stopped at Kerrycroy for group photos. The rain came on but we just kept going!

The sun popped out and we took a walk out onto the lovely pier.

Stunning.

We headed to Kingarth Hotel where a marquee was waiting. Gillian, again, made such a huge effort with all the details. I especially loved the Mr & Mrs sign.

After being piped in to cut their cake we were treated to some very funny speeches from the boys.

A beautiful family photo.

Love this photo with the Mr & Mrs sign.

After the first dance, all the guests took to the floor to party the night away. We were also treated to some Ceilidh. Thanks to Gillian and Andrew for choosing me as their photographer. It was a beautiful Kingarth Wedding.
